Men and Sexual Healthiness

Man is hardly different from animals in the wild when it comes to basic body requirements. This is in fact an important consideration to make for man in society because of the fact that he leads a life that is entirely different from his ancestral one. In other words, man today lives in an environment that is very different from the one he was used to many centuries ago.

It must be understood that the natural environment that man once lived in, was one that naturally allowed him to carry out necessary activities. It included attacking for survival, and sexual activity for the sake of increasing off spring for the sake of species survival. The latter was conducted forcibly if needed.

In contemporary times, this is not really possible, and many men cannot act as they please. As a result, they have to curtail themselves, and this can reflect in their health. Not being able to exercise when one needs to, causes you harm, and your health can go down dramatically. In addition to this, sexual activity is something that needs to be carried out as needed. If an individual is restricted from such a practice, it tends to affect him psychologically and mentally.

Causes of Poor Sexual Health in Men
As opposed to being restricted from sexual activity because of societal law, there are individuals that do not or cannot have sexual activity. These individuals include those that are said to be impotent.

Impotency may be due to a number of factors, and any one factor cannot be singled out as the sole cause of impotency.

Some causes of poor sexual health in men:
It is said the erectile tissue is where the problem lies.
It is believed that lack of blood flow to the erectile tissue denies a man of an erection.
This lack of blood flow is actually controlled by muscles that flush in and prevent the escape of blood from the erectile tissue, making an erection possible.
When these muscles are affected, they cannot carry out their functions and thus, impotency results.
There are believed to be cures for impotency in men and the medicines that have been developed lately are ones that have been quite successful.

However, it is good for one to focus on healthy habits in life so that impotency can be prevented as much as possible. Lack of proper diet, sleep and sexual activity, stress, depression, injury, diseases, etc. can cause impotency. Therefore, it is advised that men must be aware of their life style in order to be on the safe side and retain a healthy sexual life.
