The Best Way To Lose Weight

    For me the best way to lose weight was being ill! However there are much healthier ways to lose weight. Weight loss isn't easy, it never has been, particularly for myself. And yet it should be natural, our bodies strive to be healthy but the stresses, constraints and strains of modern day living don't help us in this quest. I would like to present to you some important facts about weight loss:
    Low fat foods and low calorie diets do not work. Eating a purely low fat diet causes the body to go into survival mode. It retains fat at the expense of muscle and when you eat 'normally' again will build up a surplus of fat in preparation for the next time! Diets cause people to put on weight over time.
    Low carbohydrate diets don't work over time. These low carb diets have become extremely popular over the last few years, but they are so strict and so hard to follow that the majority of people find them impossible to sustain. When you deprive your body of carbs, you deprive your body of energy, which is why they are so difficult to follow.
    People generally are overweight due to bad eating habits built up over years in an unhealthy society. You tend to eat the wrong foods at the wrong time of day. Weight loss shouldn't be difficult, it should feel good and healthy.
    You actually need to eat more than 3 times per day to lose weight naturally, so the pattern of eating is also very important and much more powerful than a weight loss pill. Your body is similar to an engine and needs certain foods at certain times of the day to keep it working to it's maximum potential.
    So, simply by eating the right foods at the right time of day can give you increased energy and decreased weight! And it really is simple once you know how. Positive thinking is great and helps many people, but this alone will not allow you to lose weight. But it really is possible to start losing those extra pounds simply and easily over the course of a couple of weeks.
    I would advise anybody wanting to try this plan out to do everything in moderation. There are days when you are allowed to eat what you want, when you want. Do it! Don't think that using willpower on these days will help you. Also it is always a good idea to keep exercising, even if it is a walk each day. Exercise is key in our general health and you don't have to be obsessive to make it work!
